BARNYARD TOURS AND HORSEBACK RIDES in Quathiaski Cove, British Columbia for sale

Holly Hill Farm offers memorable experiences for your family with our classic farm tours and horseback rides. Don't forget your camera as your children relish in the wonderful chaos of farm life! Tours run on most weekends and occasionally throughout the week and are pre-booked to offer a more personal experience without line-ups!
Our tours begin with a meet and greet by our farm gate followed by a visit to our Hen Manor. There, children are able to hold, pet, and feed our 90+ chickens, and learn about where our chickens sleep and lay eggs. The remainder of the tour is spent mingling with our free-ranging farm animals: mini-donkeys, alpacas, horses, and sheep. Always a hit of the tour, is a visit with the bunnies, where children get to pet and occasionally hold the babies.
During the tour, the children wanting to ride are whisked away to enjoy 15 minutes on horseback with a highly experienced trainer and extremely safe horse. Riders are welcome of all ages and abilities. The tours are guided and designed by elementary teacher and farm owner, Katie Denne. Often referred to as Farmer Kate, Katie engages children with humorous stories and educational tidbits.
cost: the tours are by donation with a suggested donation being $15 for a single-child family and $30 for a multi-child family. The horseback rides are optional, and an additional $10 each.

what to bring: wear boots or closed-toed play shoes, and bring helmets for those wishing to ride
additional info: up to 8 children are booked per tour, so your family will move through the tour with other families. Friends are welcome to sign up together! For the safety and wellbeing of all involved, we do not allow yelling or running within the barnyard.
